Robertson Standing Seam roof system

The proven Robertson Dura-rib roof and wall system offers durability, economy and easy
installation. Thousands of buildings currently in place throughout Canada feature the clean, vertical shadow pattern of the system's distinctive 36 in. wide panels. A pattern of 1 1/8 in. ribs on 12 in. centers forms the simple Dura-Rib profile that refracts light to blend beautifully with wood, glass, masonry or stone.

Dura-Rib's full side lap configuration ensures weather-tightness, while it enables easy and consistent panel alignment and fastener engagement. Available with a long-life Galvalume coating, Dura-Rib roof panels have earned Underwriters Laboratories' UL 30 and UL 90 wind uplift resistance classification.

Weather-tight, 360°, Pittsburgh double-lock standing seams give the StarShield roof system superior performance for lasting protection against the elements. A two-part sliding-clip fastening system eliminates the need for through-fastener penetration while it enables the entire roof to move independently of structural framing. The resulting "floating" roof freely expands and contracts with temperature changes, with-out tearing or separating at joints.

The proven StarShield system withstands hurricane-force winds, pounding rain, as well as temperature extremes at both ends of the scale. StarShield's stand-off design eliminates compression, so fiberglass insulation retains its efficiency to assure consistent thermal environmental benefits. Insulating the system with Robertson's high-efficiency RTS insulation system provides optimum energy savings.

The Robertson RTS system combines DuraRib or StarShield roof, and Dura-Rib or StarMark walls, with a Dura-Rib Liner panel, separating them with thermal spacers. Accommodating as much as 12 inches of uncompressed insulation with minimal throughmetal contact, the RTS system provides the ultimate thermal barrier for energy-efficient roof and wall construction with R-values to R40. The RTS system's metal Liner panel serves as a vapour barrier to protect insulation, while it provides an attractive interior finish. The interior RTS panel is insulated from its exterior component, so there's Less heat or cold transferred inside the building to create more work for heating and cooling systems. As a result, smaller units consuming Less energy effectively meet heating and cooling requirements, offering Lower acquisition and operating costs.

Specify the SIMPLE SAVER SYSTEM...
the best method of insulating building systems!

For roofs . . .walls . . . new or retrofit, the SIMPLE SAVER SYSTEM gives superior performance and appearance than any method using laminated flexible insulation! The SIMPLE SAVER SYSTEM eliminates most field seams with its made-to-fit vapor barrier liner system that covers entire roof or wall bays without laps, staples, hidden joints, etc. It puts the vapor barrier continuously on the inside (warm side) of the purlins and girts where it belongs. Cavities are uniformly insulated with unfaced fiberglass blanket insulation using two

layers or one thick layer with separate thermal breaks. Specify any desired "R" value the space will allow or the vapor barrier/steel strap support system can be spaced-off up to several inches to allow more space.

Don't take chances with methods "designed to sell" more laminated insulation when you can have a superior system "designed to perform"... The
SIMPLE SAVER SYSTEM! It costs no more to do the job right the first time!
